Abbie S. Hogan

Abbie Hogan is a partner and shareholder of the law firm, Zamora & Hogan Co., L.P.A. Abbie originally joined the predecessor law firm as an Associate Attorney in 2016. Since then, she has represented hundreds of workers’ compensation clients at all stages of their claims before the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation and Industrial Commission of Ohio, and various Courts of Common Pleas in Ohio. She has also successfully represented police officer and firefighter clients before the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund in claims for disability retirement. Her experience includes proving all types of injury and occupational disease claims, and prevailing with all types of compensation, including permanent total disability compensation. Abbie is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Ohio Association for Justice.

Prior to joining the firm, Abbie spent seven years working for the Defense Logistics Agency, where she planned, executed and administered acquisitions for military equipment and supplies, and supervised a team of contract specialists and purchasing agents working on various procurements.

Abbie graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy. After graduating, she spent the next two years working as a litigation project assistant for Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago, Illinois. Abbie received her Juris Doctorate in 2008 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served as the Online & Bibliography Editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution and Editor of the Mayhew-Hite Report. During her time in law school she was a law clerk for Ulmer & Berne LLP in Columbus, Ohio.

Abbie has been married to her husband PJ since 2009, and has a daughter, Parker, who was born in 2015. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, attending and hosting concerts, experimenting with vegetarian cooking, traveling, and taking too many pictures of her too many cats.
